Sommer Cable: Loudspeaker Cable

SC-Twincord

Transparency is called for...

Not only for the jacket material, but also for sound transmission between HiFi-amplifiers and speakers. The SC-Twincord is a reasonable, but very dependable speaker cable with high quality copper and more dense stranding than the standard cable.

It also has a somewhat harder jacket material, so that it can be installed very easily, e.g. under your carpet or in areas of your apartment that are difficult to access. The professional sound technician or soundman uses the SC-Twincord for fixed installation or for interior wiring of racks and speaker systems.

SC-Orbit

You can easily hear the grass grow...

with our SC-Orbit 240 MKII, HighEnd. If you care for true, natural sound and dynamics, then the SC-Orbit 240 MKII, HighEnd is your cable. At the end of the audio signal path is the loudspeaker, but just how the music gets there is nowhere near bananas! You already have the good speaker, now all you need is the cable - and the difference is audible!

Here too Sommer Cable offers top quality with an attractive look, because the cables are often laid visibly - or invisibly, therefore as flat as possible is the name of the game. Due to a very tight litz stranding, the copper strand has the necessary surface for a clean transmission of the treble range. The individual wires are reverse-braided. So this cable will always return to its original position, even after extreme twisting.

SC-Tribun

Playing hide and seek...

you re welcome to do this with our SC-Tribun, Flat-Design loudspeaker cable, because it s so flat that you can barely see it once it has been laid. It can be perfectly laid under carpets, behind decorative strips, on the ceiling and underneath your furniture. The SC-Tribun, Flat-Design is almost invisible. And it s all white, so that not even a mouse will recognise it!

This makes it ideal for the installation in buildings (e.g. in hotels, bars, sporting arenas) and churches. The edges are slanted, so it s impossible to get stuck with your shoes or a rollator. The bottom side is flat and finished, which allows you to affix a double-sided adhesive tape for universal attachment.

The SC-Tribun, Flat-Design is easy to splice and only about 2-3 mm high!

Elephant Robust

Especially for the tough stage routine...

Sommer cable improved the jacket stability on the ELEPHANT series. Furthermore it is flexible, robust, tread-resistant, easy to reel and of course reusable time and again.

Now the jacket surface is also smoother and thus easier to clean. And Sommer cable has customised the outer diameter for an easier no-fuss handling with the common speaker multipins (CA-COM 8-pin, NL8, LKS19, EP5).
