"Judging a subwoofer alone is always a little ungrateful. Rule of thumb: If it is no longer noticeable, it is correctly adjusted. With our Cinecor L box, I had to tinker with it for a long time before the transition fit, because even if the box has a gently roll-off towards the bass, it reaches tremendously deep in the listening room, so that in the end I had to close the reflex tubes to get a clean transition at all. But what then happened dynamically was already an event: music and film material were presented on such a high dynamic level that I couldn't think of anything at first - and believe me: I always find some criticism ... But this is, apart from the infinite power reserves, also in terms of musicality, spatial imaging and yes, also in terms of fine dynamics and attention to detail, a real challenge to the very expensive high-end ready-made speakers. I'm really looking forward to the finished surround set!"
